About the Rotary Screening Bucket
The Rotary Screening Bucket is a versatile screening bucket for demolition, top soil, waste, recycling and washing. The Rotary has been designed for machines from 6t to 25t. Unique conical drums can be interchanged quickly and a cleaning brush is fitted as standard.
Key Features
conical drum
The conical drum has an aggressive action which helps to break down and strip the material as it is lifted and thrown forwards during rotation. This results in a high output and cost-effective process
DRUM OPTIONS
We offer a range of aperture sizes from a 10 x 30mm screen to 100mm. Any size and shape aperture can be supplied.
SPEED
The quick-change drum feature on the RT13-20 and RT18-25 allows drums to be changed within 5 minutes without manual handling. This enables the user to create more than one fraction size
complete fabrication
The single-piece drum is a complete fabrication, there is little dead area maximising aperture area and of course output. Another benefit of small dead area is the reduced clogging.
CONSTRUCTION
Rugged construction using the best materials for long life and reliability.
CONTROL
Variable speed control mounted on the bucket enables the operator to set the optimum drum speed easily.
MAINTENANCE
Simple maintenance.
WASHING
It is possible to use the RT13-20 and RT18-25 for washing.
Rotary Screening Bucket
The Lloyd Engineering Rotary Screening Bucket stands out as the ultimate on-site screening solution, engineered to dramatically boost your productivity while cutting costs across a wide range of demanding applications including demolition, topsoil preparation, waste management, recycling, and even specialist washing tasks.
Built tough for excavators from 6 to 25 tonnes, this high-performance bucket harnesses a unique conical drum design that delivers aggressive material action—lifting, throwing, breaking down, and stripping material forward as it rotates. The result is exceptionally high output combined with a truly cost-effective screening process that outperforms traditional methods.
What truly sets the Lloyd Rotary apart is its innovative quick-change conical drums, featured on models like the RT13-20 and RT18-25. These drums can be swapped in under five minutes without any manual handling, letting operators produce multiple fraction sizes on the spot, with aperture options ranging from 10 x 30mm up to 100mm (and custom shapes or sizes available on request). The single-piece drum fabrication maximizes the effective aperture area while eliminating dead zones, which significantly reduces clogging and pushes throughput even higher. Operators also benefit from variable speed control mounted directly on the bucket, allowing precise adjustment of drum speed to match any material type or condition.
A cleaning brush comes fitted as standard across the range to keep performance consistent, and specialist models like the DL 13-20 take it further with advanced hydraulic cleaning brushes for tackling sticky or challenging conditions without interruption.
Constructed from premium, rugged materials, the bucket offers long service life, straightforward maintenance, and outstanding reliability—no submerged gearboxes or slewing ring gears to complicate things.
For fine screening and washing applications—such as processing decorative aggregates, pea gravel, or deleading shooting ranges—the dedicated DL 13-20 model excels with its double conical drum setup for faster, more aggressive action, plus the ability to screen down to 4.0mm and beyond.
Imagine eliminating the expense and hassle of hauling material off-site for disposal or buying in pre-screened product. With the Lloyd Rotary Screening Bucket, you process and screen efficiently right where the work is happening—saving valuable time, fuel, and transport costs while instantly converting waste into reusable, revenue-generating material.
